SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Philip I Philadelphos, circa 95/4-76/5 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 15.14 g, 1 h), uncertain mint 128 in Cilicia (Tarsos?), circa 88/7-76/5. Diademed head of Philip I to right. Rev. [B]AΣIΛE[ΩΣ] / ΦIΛIΠΠΟΥ - EΠIΦΑΝΟΥΣ / [Φ]IΛAΔEΛΦΟ[Υ] Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to inner left, two monograms; in exergue, AN. SC 2461.3. Nicely toned and well centered, with really fine portrait. Two surface cracks on the obverse and slightly double struck on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
